The clinic is a family business with Michele Batchelor providing Physiotherapy services, husband Scott Batchelor managing the clinic practice and their daughters Casey and Erin assisting on reception. The whole family embraces providing a service to the Huon Valley which is their home that they understand well and love. They enjoy sharing this experience with people new to the area and those established in the region.
Physiotherapist, Michele Batchelor
The owner Michele Batchelor has lived and worked in the Huon valley since 1992. She qualified in N.S.W in 1985 as a physiotherapist and on arriving in the Huon Valley in 1992 commenced working at this clinic and purchased the business in 1999. Michele has over 30 years of experience as a physiotherapist. She has worked in hospitals and private clinics in Australia and England. She has supported sporting teams as a physiotherapist locally, at a state level and nationally. Her main interest is empowering people to improve their movement and body mechanics to prevent or recover from injury. Outside she is a keen bushwalker, reader and gardener.
Practice manager, Scott Batchelor
Scott Batchelor has capably run the administrative component of the business since 1999. Scott was born and raised in the Huon Valley and has enjoyed his role in the clinic along with balancing this work with his other occupation as a third generation Huon valley apple orchardist. Scott enjoys his hobby farm, gardening, bushwalking, fishing and sharing these interests with others.
Casey and Erin Batchelor assist on reception whilst they complete their university studies. They have both been keen netballers and bring this sporting interest along with their enjoyment of growing up in the Huon to their work at the clinic.
